Tarahumara mountain boas originate from the mountain range of Northern Mexico, in Chihuahua and Sonora. They are among the smallest of the boa constrictor species, rarely exceeding four foot. They have a very distinctive dark head spear, and are relatively easy to keep.

We have a small group of Tarahumaras. We have two 2007 females, originally bred by Hermann Stoekl, and a 2010 male that we purchased from Roger Bakhuisen from Holland. We also have a 2013 male obtained from Legacy Reptiles.
